Product Description

The High Temperature Linescanner Enclosure is a modular system designed to protect the MP150 linescanner from exposure to high ambient temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C), in metals, steel and various minerals processing, as well as glass processing. Items listed below are part of this modular system and each item is ordered separately. Our applications engineers or your local representative can assist you in selecting the necessary modules to meet your specific application needs.

High Temperature Enclosure
Stainless steel enclosure with mounting base and integrated fail-safe shutter. Includes conduit opening for wiring and connections for cooling water (if required), and mounting aperture for high performance vortex cooler.

Insulating Shield
Insulating shield is a custom stainless steel envelope filled with high performance refractory material. Placed closest to the process, it prevents heat from entering the enclosure and lessens the heat removal requirements of other elements.

Water-Cooled Shield
Stainless steel high performance water shield. Oversized water inlet and outlet permit high flow rates and extremely high heat removal capability while limiting the potential for water blockages.

Internal Cold Plates
Internal cold plates cool scanner by contact. Eliminates the need to disconnect fittings to remove scanner. Supplied in sets of two pre-connected with stainless steel piping.

High Performance Vortex Cooler
High performance vortex cooler separates compressed air (or nitrogen) into hot and cold streams to actively cool enclosure interior.
